Fischbachauer and holiday guests flocked to the "market for regional products" in and around the Fischbachau town hall at the weekend.
At the longed-for end of the compulsory Corona break, the sun was shining.
Fischbachau - Organizers and visitors have been waiting a long time for this moment: After a corona-related forced break, a market was finally able to take place again on Sunday in Fischbachau.
It was the “market for regional products” that attracted visitors with creative handicrafts and works of art after the traditional herb consecration for the Assumption of Mary in and outside the town hall in the former monastery.

The 15 exhibitors, all from the area, offered visitors fragrant herbs, culinary delicacies as well as ointment oils and creams - everything that the herb and elder valley has to offer.
A knife grinder from Mittenwald was the exhibitor with the longest journey and brought the right tool for cutting the herbs with him.
Guests from near and far gladly accepted the showmen's offers.
In the bright sun and blue sky, Fischbachauer and holidaymakers strolled across the cloister courtyard - without wearing a mask, but with a safe distance from one another.
The Fischbachau Tourist Information Office was happy about the popularity of the first market after the forced break: "Everyone was happy and satisfied that there is another market," says manager Karin Grämmel.
There were always visitors and the exhibitors were also satisfied.
The only downer: "It was a bit hot," says Grämmel and laughs.
