An IDF spokesman updated last night (Tuesday) that the head of the Air Force Commander's Office, Major N., had been agreed to the position of Deputy Commander of the First Air Squadron.

N., a combat navigator by training, will take up her new position as deputy commander of the 119th Squadron ("The Bat") next year.

Major N. was today agreed to the position of Deputy Commander of the Combat Squadron (Lt. Col. A) in the Air Force!


Currently serving as head of the Air Force Commander's Office, she is a combat navigator in her training.

119 Squadron is an operational combat squadron that operates in various sectors and performs quite a few operations that contribute to the security of the State of Israel.

Major N. is an Air Force fighter, and the first woman to fill the position of Air Force Commander.

N., who was appointed head of the Air Force Commander's Bureau, Major General Amikam Nurkin, less than a year ago, is 28 years old from the central region, completed the pilot course in June 2015.
