"This dog has its origin in the 4th century in the Celtic peoples of Ireland. It is tremendously affectionate and with a good temperament. It is clearly not a guard dog," explained De Pineda in the 57th issue of OhMyDog! Magazine.
Ivan and Mervyn love to walk together and the dog to play with the driver's nephews.
De Pineda defined him as "loyal, patient and loving."
"We are similar in that we are skinny and clumsy. I also think that we are both respectful and partners," he said.
The size of Irish Wolfhounds is impressive
: males are approximately 81 cm tall and weigh between 54 and 70 kg.
Females are approximately 76 cm tall and weigh between 48 and 61 kg.
