The Hong Kong Young Entrepreneurs General Chamber of Commerce conducted an online questionnaire survey on "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship" from 10 to 15 this month, interviewing 163 start-ups that have been established in Hong Kong for less than eight years and use Hong Kong as their corporate headquarters. The survey shows that Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai are the most popular cities in the Greater Bay Area outside of Hong Kong. The respondents reported that the main reason is that local industries cooperate with business development (30%), followed by local government policies that facilitate business development (27%); In addition, 27% of the respondents expect that starting a business in the Greater Bay Area can reduce operating costs, 21% prefer more local funds or investors, and 18% expect central support.
