Various creative, cultural, social and sports educational activities involving 100 male and female students of the basic education stage, the second cycle, within the activities of the first national camp for young creators, which is currently being held by the Revolutionary Youth Union Organization in the second mixed kindergarten school in the Zabadani area in Damascus countryside.

The five-day camp aims to instill the seeds of self-confidence and responsibility, stimulate initiative and creativity among young people, direct their energies towards production and giving, and create creative youth capable of influencing and changing and informing them of their rights and duties, according to camp leader Khaled Al-Khaled.

In a statement to SANA, Al-Khaled said that young men and women from different governorates, who excelled academically in the second stage of basic education, and who are creative in various fields of playing, singing and other arts, are participating in the camp.

Al-Khaled stressed that the camp instills the value of responsibility in the spirit of youth and promotes patriotism, in addition to directing them to carry out initiatives in cooperation with the local community in a way that can transfer this experience to his family and surrounding community through ideas and proposals that are implemented within the initiative, pointing out that the activities of the camp also include participation in recreational activities outside. To get acquainted with the tourist attractions of the Zabadani region, in addition to activities that enhance life skills through mini-workshops held within the camp in various fields.

A number of camp participants found a space to show their talents and creativity and benefit from the experiences of some of them. Hala Mahamid from Daraa, who participates in the field of acting, reciting poetry and singing, explained that the camp program is diverse and motivates them to elicit more creativity and will have a role in supporting their personal strength.

Hadi Dakkak from Damascus pointed out that he participates in the field of swimming and aspires to reach international competitions, noting the importance of the camp in terms of introducing them to how to direct and discover their energies and creativity through activities and what young people of this age can offer to their homeland, while Abdul Rahman Hiji from Deir ez-Zor showed the inventor of a working car engine.
