Jeff Bezos filed a lawsuit against NASA following an "unfair tender" according to which Elon Musk will be allowed to fly people to the moon in the service of the US Space Agency in 2024

After the battle over who will be the first to enter space in a civilian flight calms down, the various sides turn to the next battle for the conquest of space by man, again.

Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin company has filed a lawsuit in the US Federal Court against the US space agency following allegations of an "incorrectly evaluated" tender, after which Elon Musk's Space X company won a contract under which it will receive huge budgets for launching astronauts To the moon until 2024.

The lawsuit itself is protected by a restraining order but the lawyers who filed the lawsuit slightly hinted at a matter of "unfair and incorrect considerations" when choosing a partner for the moon flight contract, a tender in which 3 companies participated (Boeing actually withdrew from the race due to trial failures) and who eventually won. It was Elon Musk's Space X company that submitted a bid of $ 2.9 billion, compared to a $ 5.9 billion bid made by Jeff Bezos and Blue Origin.

NASA's choice of Spice X slightly surprised the experts who thought it would use two contractors for this mission of commercial flights to the moon and the few details that emerged from the confidential claim speak mainly of failures in the tender decision-making process.

NASA said it was investigating the matter quickly in order to get its "Artemis" program back on track in the shortest possible time.
