3,266 students from Al-Baath University and intermediate institutes in the governorate benefited from student loans granted by the branch of the General Authority of the Student Credit Fund in Homs Governorate for the current year.
Nora Maarouf, head of the General Authority of the Student Credit Fund at Al-Baath University, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the loans granted were distributed as 964 for the monthly loan and 2302 for the personal loan, while the value of the granted loans amounted to about 806 million and 280 thousand pounds, stressing that all measures that would facilitate Student loan process.
A number of student beneficiaries stressed the importance of these monthly and personal loans in supporting them financially and helping them to pursue their educational attainment, especially that they are exempt from fees, stamps and interest and are repaid according to a convenient mechanism.
