The Commercial Bank of Syria announced the expansion of projects included in the program to support and finance small and medium enterprises "with subsidized interest rates" to become 33 projects.
According to a statement published by the bank on its Facebook page, the list of projects included the production of renewable energy supplies and equipment, dairy and cheese factories, the manufacture of threads, paper, starch, industrial diameter, automatic weaving, knitting, carpets, rugs, knitted fabrics, lighting devices, Formica and aluminum panels, dyestuffs, poultry houses, and cemeteries.
The projects also included factories for the production of modern irrigation requirements, glass panels, inverters, batteries, machinery manufacturing, production lines, damaged tourist and industrial facilities in Aleppo, projects for the production of natural juices, the manufacture of fertilizers, the multiplication of vegetable seeds and veterinary medicines not produced locally, and farms raising Awassi sheep and Shami goats.
On the 9th of this month, the Commercial Bank of Syria launched a program to finance small and medium enterprises and began receiving funding requests at its branches in all governorates, and the amount of support is 7 percent, so the interest rate after the support is 4 percent.
