The HKEAA announced that it will hold an online information seminar on the HKDSE on 28th (Saturday) of this month. Speakers will include Secretary General Wei Xiangdong, Public Examination Director Mak Jinsheng, Evaluation Development Director Cai Xiaokun, and School Examination and Evaluation Director Xu Wanqing .
The two-hour lecture is divided into three parts. It will first explain the streamlined arrangements for DSE and school-based assessment in 2022, and the new assessment arrangements for core subjects in 2024.
As announced by the HKEAA earlier, the "Civilization and Social Development" will replace the Liberal Studies subject from the 2021/22 school year, that is, in 2024, the DSE will replace the Liberal Studies subject as one of the core subjects. In addition, the Chinese subject will cancel the listening and oral exams. , It is expected that the senior management of the Appraisal Bureau will discuss the arrangements in detail.
The second part of the lecture mainly involved examination arrangements, such as the allocation of examination venues, and the handling of special accidents.
