A big screen, fresh popcorn, pizza from the local Italian and a sophisticated hygiene concept: it didn't take more to turn the village square in Maria Thalheim into an open-air cinema at the weekend.
Maria Thalheim - More than 40 young people and their families accepted the invitation of the youth committee of the Fraunberg community. Around 8 p.m., the community citizens made themselves comfortable on the picnic blankets and benches they had provided. When it got dark, Lenny (Elyas M'Barek) and David (Philip Noah Schwarz) took command. The film "This stupid heart" is about Lenny, the 30-year-old son of a heart specialist who has led a carefree life to date. When his father blocks his credit card, he has only one option to get his old luxury life back: He has to look after David (15), who has had a serious heart condition since he was born. Soon the otherwise irresponsible Lenny realizes that David grows more and more dear to his heart,and a deep friendship develops between the two.
Both the audience and the organizers were enthusiastic about the plot, which is based on a true story.
Overall, the evening at the cinema was a complete success.
