As the last remaining object, excavators tear down the last wall of the MD site in the Ostenstrasse in Dachau near the Isaria information tower in September.

With it, the artwork by Adrian Till and Johannes Wirthmüller disappears.

For the two artists from the Dachau “Outer Circle” association, it was intended exactly like this: “Our art symbolizes a transition. With the representation of the paper machines in abstract form, we pay tribute to the importance of the paper mill for Dachau and create association spaces for new things. In this respect, it is consistent and part of the art project that the wall will disappear in just under four weeks and make room for a new vision ”. The project development company Isaria enables all interested citizens of Dachau to view the art installation and opens the space at the information tower from Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for souvenir photos. David Christmann, managing director of Isaria: "For us it will be important in the future to create a respectful connection to the past by preserving the listed buildings."
