The warm peace embodied in the agreements between Abraham and the Sharaka organization can play a vital role in improving U.S. national security, and reducing its military presence in the Middle East.

Nearly a year has passed since September 15, the historic day the White House agreements signed the Abrahamic Laws.

These agreements differ from their predecessors in the emphasis they place on "warm peace," also known as "peace between people."

The signing of the Abrahamic Agreements led to many deals being launched, and one of the particularly exciting fruits of peace, which also reflects the deep commitment to bring about truly warm peace, is the establishment of a non-governmental organization called Sharaka, which means "partnership" in Arabic.

I recently joined as a guest a group of members of the Shraka organization on a week-long visit to the United States, the purpose of which was to introduce to American public opinion the importance of "peace between people."

Sharaka members also met with the most important personalities and organizations in the three states they visited, New York, Massachusetts and Atlanta, interviewed the media and met with members of the academy. In the panel discussions, we recognized that there are certain narratives that need to be changed, emphasizing that the Abrahamic Agreements symbolize authentic and true peace, and unlike previous peace treaties signed in the region - they do not merely end with treaties and diplomatic relations between countries. It was also clarified that the engine of the Abrahamic Agreements not only touched on the Iranian issue and the interests of the UAE, but it was a really warm peace, which included the people he was serving and whom he was meant to protect.

The members of Sharaka worked to spread the message that the Avraham agreements are multi-layered, and that among the Arabs there are different approaches to the construction of peace agreements. The traditional approach saw resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as a necessary precondition for the normalization of relations between Israel and its neighbors, but the Abrahamic Agreements took the opposite approach: that normalization of relations - especially between peoples - is the way to a real solution. The Arab states should be seen as an enabling factor in resolving the conflict, and not necessarily as Palestinian spokespersons. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict must be managed and kept under control, in order to prevent a situation in which various opportunists exploit it for their own needs.

The main conclusion I have reached personally as a result of the meetings and discussions is that the Abrahamic Agreements are a situation in which all parties benefit, and any country whose signature is on the agreements will benefit from their success and fruits. Israel needs the Abrahamic Agreements if it wants to produce trust-building measures in the region, especially among the Arab Muslim public, while the Arab states party to the agreement need the international backing and legitimacy that Israel will give them, especially in US public opinion and its Jewish communities. Also how important it is to highlight what America is gaining from the new regional arrangement: the warm peace embodied in the Abrahamic Accords and the Sharaka organization can play a vital role in improving U.S. national security, and reducing its military presence in the Middle East.
