At a hearing to be held this morning (Wednesday) at 9:30 a.m., the Constitution Committee will convene to discuss the expansion of the "green mark," the "purple mark" and the crowd restrictions that went into effect yesterday at midnight.
The debate will be chaired by MK Eitan Ginzburg, and will be attended by Prof. Salman Zarka, the Corona Projector, and Prof. Eli Waxman.
The discussion will be accompanied by regulations that deviate from the green label the national parks and nature reserves, which were approved by the government yesterday.
The exception includes open spaces and parks used for hiking and tourism, as long as they do not have an attraction or other point of interest that causes a crowd.
According to the procedures, the regulations work so that they are first approved by the Ministry of Health - then passed to the Cabinet, and finally to the Constitution Committee, which chooses which regulations to approve and what to change a week later.
Regulations can enter into force even before the Constitution Committee is approved, but it can change the regulations that enter into force a week later.
