The committee will consider expanding the administration of the third vaccine to those aged 40 and over.
To date, about 61% of those aged 60 and over in Israel, and 23% of those aged 59-50, have been vaccinated in the third dose.
About 620,000 people aged 50 and over who were vaccinated in two doses have not yet received the third dose.
Meanwhile, at the request of the Minister of Education, Dr. Yifat Shasha-Bitton, the Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, decided to convene the Ministerial Committee on Dealing with the Corona Virus (Corona Cabinet) for a concluding discussion on the education system, where a decision on all issues and aspects will be made. At the beginning of next week (an exact date will be set later), in which experts, professionals and representatives of teachers 'and parents' organizations will participate at the request of the Minister, in order to thoroughly and in-depth discuss the issues on the agenda and the various outlines proposed.
