Suspicion of abuse in the south: The parents of a three-month-old toddler were arrested after signs of sabotage were found on his body.
Police last night received a report from Soroka Hospital of a suspicion of abuse of a toddler after the medical staff noticed signs of sabotage.
Upon receipt of the report, the parents, residents of Be'er Sheva as young as 30, were detained for questioning and at the end it was decided to arrest them.
A report was also forwarded to the welfare authorities.
Today the suspects will be brought before the court for a hearing on extending their detention.
