An event of insecurity left images that seem untrue but actually happened.

It was on the streets of Isidro Casanova, in La Matanza:

the van was stolen from employees of a bakery and a patrol car that passed by at that moment continued to pass

.

The robbery

occurred

in the middle of the afternoon at the intersection of

Peribebuy and Mi Esperanza streets

, a

very busy area,

only one very busy, the residents of the neighborhood who go out to buy are joined by those who get off the buses that circulate in the area.

None of this was an impediment for two criminals to rob employees of the

Hispano Argentina bakery.

The owner was on

the premises

, who was surprised by an

armed criminal

who

threatened him to hand over the money from the cash register.

At the same time,

another assailant beat up the vendor

who was at the door of the shop

unloading merchandise from the Kangoo truck

.

The criminals threw the employee to the ground when he tried to prevent the robbery.

After struggling with one of the employees and throwing him to the ground,

the criminals managed to seize the vehicle

, but before they fled, the unexpected happened.

When they were about to follow their truck

towards Peribebuy street, the criminals

reversed

and brought

the vehicle back up onto the sidewalk

.

The reason: to give way to a patrol of the Buenos Aires Police

, which was just circulating through the place and

did not realize what was happening

,

despite the shouts of the employees and other neighbors

who were on the block.

Once the police continued on their way, the criminals fled the scene at full speed.

In the images you can see how

the employees of the bakery run towards the street

, while

waving their arms and continuing to shout

to ask the patrolman to follow the van that had just been stolen.

The employees went out to the street to make gestures to him and call the patrol but they kept going.

"The police saw everything, they walked around the block to come back and they told us they couldn't do anything because they were taking a detainee back,"

explained one of the employees in statements to Telefé Noticias.

The criminals not only

took the vehicle and the collection of the day, which was $ 19,000

, but

also

had time to get

the owner's cell phone and wallet

with more cash, cards and documents.

The police version

According to the

police version

,

it is not that the officers did not stop intentionally

, but that they

did not see what had happened and did not find out

at that time because the employees and neighbors asked for help when they were already moving away.

This

was denied by the same employees

, who say that the

officers came to see what was happening

and the only thing they hit upon was to make a kind of indignant gesture, shaking their heads.

Neighbors maintain that they chose to continue on, despite the gestures of

employees and neighbors who came close to hitting the windows of the police cell phone throughout the block.

The case

was classified as aggravated robbery

by the prosecutor Claudio Fornaro of UFI No. 1 of La Matanza, who

ordered the

 surveillance

cameras to be reviewed

in order to

reconstruct the route

and what the criminals did once they fled.

Until the afternoon of this Wednesday,

the assailants had not been located.

Regarding the stolen truck, the employees

gave the patent number and other details

so that they can identify it, but

there were no traces

of the vehicle.
