Wet Dream: Swimming Pools To Home | Israel today

2021-08-18T12:36:56.878Z

A cast home pool, like that of "Uncle Sam", does not have to remain a distant dream • It has a quick and cheap solution that will allow you to enjoy it in just a month • Pleasant paddling

In recent years you will hardly find a house with a yard that does not have a swimming pool.

Corona closures only increased the consumption of home swimming pools, as the main pastime involved staying at home and adapting it to all the needs of the family.

However, most of us settle for rubber pools that stand proudly on the synthetic grass, which we dismantle at the end of the bathing season and store in the warehouse on the second floor until next year - while continuing to dream of a real, dug pool, like the rich uncle from Caesarea, where you can swim even in winter.

Today you no longer have to give up this wet dream.

Avi Romano, the owner and CEO of s-pool, a company that produces concrete pools with a global Israeli patent, says that you should not just dream. It can be fulfilled.

How can an average household bring a pool home?

"Making a kitchen today costs between NIS 60,000 and NIS 250,000," Avi Romano tells us.

"An average concrete pool will cost between 100,000 and 250,000 shekels - depending on the size."

He adds and compares the maintenance of real grass, which involves frequent gardening and watering expenses, to the maintenance of a pool that costs only about 500 shekels a month.

"Someone comes who takes care of the disinfectant, cleans and maintains it so it can be used all year round."

For a private pool will I have to live on a construction site?

"In most cases, yes. A normal concrete pool will require about three months of work, including workers, excavations and noise in your home," says Romano.

And yes, as with remodeling, you will have to work with many professionals - from electricians through workers to designers.

This is not just about noise and clutter, but also high costs.

Takes out your desire?

There is no need.

S-pool has a solution.

Pool to the house

s-pool has developed a registered and ideal patent.

Within 30 days, you can wade in the azure water.

how?

Choose the design from the consultants of the company that accompanies the project, in the factory - and not at your home, pour the selected pool and perform all the finishing operations, including plastering, sealing and cladding.

The pool undergoes a quality test, which also includes a leak test, and then with the help of a crane it arrives at the place excavated for it - in just two working days - in your yard.

"Then there is one more day of installation, another day where equipment, pipes, motors, etc. are added, and by the end of the week it is already possible to swim. Instead of digging and building for three months at the customer, we work at the same time," Romano emphasizes.

"At the factory, the pool is prepared, and towards the end, the area in the yard is prepared. We meet after thirty days and actually finish."

And what about the water bill?

You will be surprised, but a swimming pool does not waste water.

Advanced disinfection and filtration systems will make it stay clear for years.

Permits

Yes, it is impossible to escape them, and that, unfortunately, no longer depends on the s-pool.

First, the standard allows construction on 12% of the size of the plot you have (including the area on which the house is built), and you will have to pay property taxes as if the pool is part of the house.

"Every pool, except for non-excavated rubber pools, requires a building permit," Romano adds.

"The building permit costs around NIS 15,000, and to get it you will have to wait between 3 months and a year, depending on the municipality."

Size does matter

The minimum length for building a pool is 5 meters, and the maximum length is 10 meters.

"I can build bigger pools, but the trucks can't carry them," Romano says.

How much does it cost and which is better?

"The cheapest pools are the rubber pools, which cost a few thousand. They are followed by fiberglass pools, which cost about NIS 39,000 to NIS 40,000 for a standard size. "They will reach the area of NIS 100,000. They are popular in construction on roofs and penthouses, because a concrete pool that is too heavy for a roof - a weight of 40 tons for the pool, and in addition 40 tons for the water - is too much."

If your soul desires a real concrete pool, it will cost you around NIS 200,000.

You will be surprised to know that the pools that are produced in s-pools, with all their advantages, will cost you much less.

For 100 to 170 thousand shekels you can fulfill the old dream of a real concrete pool at home, and without all the accompanying hustle and bustle around.

What have you been told, we in your place are giving up on renovating the kitchen - delicious food comes out of it anyway - and investing the budget in a real pool that will upgrade our lives and health, and if possible without unnecessary clutter. Just like s-pool do.
