Did a DNA test and revealed a secret (@ jordynthe1st)
A woman was left in shock after a simple DNA test revealed a family secret more than 20 years old.
Jordyn Myers, 21, grew up not knowing who her father was.
Her mother, who gave birth to her when she was her age, assumed she was pregnant by a former Puerto Rican friend, which led the family to assume that Jordin was half Puerto Rican.
At the age of 17, Jordyn decided to have a DNA test and learned that she was actually half-Afghan.
Then at the age of 20, a second-degree cousin, who contacted her through the service that did the test for her, managed to help her and led her to a sensational discovery.
Jordin's mother recalled an affair with a guy named Alex from the Middle East, "they only met a few times, and flicks existed even then," she explained in Tiktok.

With this information, Jordyn's cousin was able to contact the family and to her surprise she found out that her extended family also lived in her hometown of Las Vegas all this time. "I could not believe it," she told the New York Post, "not only did this woman solve a 20-year mystery in one day, but my whole family lived next to me all this time."
The second cousin told the story to her grandmother, who shared the story with Jordin's biological father. The family received Jordin shortly afterwards. She found out that her father lived in Afghanistan after being deported from the United States when he was in his 20s, and he could not return to the United States - but even from that distance, he received her with open arms.
"I did not have the chance to meet him because he is stuck in Afghanistan," she says, "I was able to talk to him via video chat, but the internet in Afghanistan is terrible and it was for a short time. I hope I can visit him soon."
Telling this legend not only made Jordyn get to know her new family but also made it clear to her that her father is rich and wants to compensate her financially for the time that has passed.
"All my life I've been accepting that I don't know who my dad is. I was fine with that but I had questions. Now I don't have to ask again."
Jordin's original video has been viewed more than 2.5 million times with 678,500 likes and Jordin said she happily accepts her legacy.
"I now belong to a wonderful tradition. It's so exciting to finally understand who I am."
