At the same time, committed young Moosburgers got together and founded their own local Fridays For Future group.
The first campaign was a “spray chalk awareness campaign” on the Moosburger “plan” in March.

The first rally of this organization will take place next Friday, August 20, as announced by its spokesman, William Reed.
The meeting point for the demonstration is therefore at 5.30 p.m. at Moosburger Viehmarktplatz.
Speeches by experts and activists are planned there.
In addition, each participant is invited to give a speech themselves.

According to Reed, the fact that an action in Moosburg is possible so soon after it was founded was “thanks not least to the activists from Landshut, who actively supported the Moosburgers in organizing this demonstration”.
This action is seen as a kind of test run for the global climate strike on September 24th, for which a larger action is also planned in Moosburg.
At the rally on Friday, the well-known corona protective measures and a strict mask requirement apply.
