Driving under the influence of drugs, without a valid driver's license and much more: veil investigators discovered several violations on the B11.

They checked motorists at the junction to Waldram.

Wolfratshausen - Drivers who were on the B11 between Wolfratshausen and Geretsried on Wednesday afternoon needed patience. At the level of the junction to Waldram, the Murnau border police inspection and forces from the Weilheim Central Operations Service had set up a veil search control point. The officials checked passing road users between 2 and 6.30 p.m. - supported by drug dog "Luggi". The veil investigators found several violations, as reported by the Murnau border police inspection.

A 34-year-old from Salzgitter in Lower Saxony and a 42-year-old from Görlitz in Saxony tested positive for THC in a drug pretest.

They were not allowed to drive any further and had to have their blood drawn at the Wolfratshausen police station.

Administrative offense proceedings for driving under the influence of drugs were opened against both of them.

Since the officials also found a small amount of cannabis in the 42-year-old, he must also answer for a violation of the Narcotics Act.

Driver's license and registration not rewritten

A 42-year-old Romanian was traveling without a valid driver's license. Since her permanent place of residence has been in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district for almost two and a half years, she should have had her Moldovan driving license converted into a German driving license long ago. Her SUV with a Moldovan registration would also have had to be registered in Germany in order to pay the vehicle tax here. Because of both violations, criminal proceedings were opened and the journey was prevented.

A driver of a small van (48) is guilty of an offense under the Residence Act according to initial findings. The forklift driver, who by his own account has been working in Germany for ten years, was only able to identify himself with an alien passport from Latvia. Since this does not regulate the nationality of the holder, he is considered stateless. By marrying a Latvian woman, he would have the right to freedom of movement, but due to a divorce he would need a residence and work permit again. "In this case, an investigation is still necessary," said the police.

In addition, there are two cases of suspected violations of the Driving Personnel Act.

Parcel drivers must keep precise records of their working hours for the past 30 days.

Two drivers did not obey this rule.

One of them stated that he often had to work twelve hours.

For this reason, he can neither take breaks nor keep the records correctly.

The officials are now determining whether this is actually the case, whether the employer must be investigated and, if necessary, criminal proceedings must be initiated.
