Rottach-Egern - After trees were damaged again on the Rottachdamm, Thomas Tomaschek, councilor and chairman of the Greens in the Tegernsee valley, now uses clear words.
Apparently someone has something against newly planted trees on the Rottach.
Damage has already been caused there several times, trees damaged or kinked.
Now Green Councilor Thomas Tomaschek from Rottach-Egern is taking action.
"The tree vandal on the Rottach is active again and stronger than it has been for a long time," he says.
“Newly planted trees on the nature trail are constantly being kinked and willfully destroyed.
We hardly have any intact young trees left on the dam. ”The hustle and bustle has been going on for about a year now.
"Residents are upset and desperate," explains the Green Council.
"I'm really angry and stunned about it too."
Rottachdamm from Birkenmoos to Kalkofen
Everyone should know, be vigilant and no longer accept this behavior in silence, explains Thomas Tomaschek.
That is why he has now attached profiles to end the hustle and bustle of the unknown on Rottachdamm between Birkenmoos and Kalkofen.
The wording says:
"WANTED - To the tree molester von der Rottach: You sick, mindless person! Finally stop destroying the trees that were specially planted for the nature trail! How can you be helped? Do therapy against your aggression or talk to friends about your psychological problems. Leave our trees alone! They haven't harmed you! "
New trees planted in 2020
Josef Bogner senior, first director of the Rottach-Egern Transport and Improvement Association, who is responsible for the newly planted trees on the nature trail, currently knows nothing of any other damaged trees.
“We renewed the trees in 2020,” he says.
"I am not aware that there is currently any damage again."
Also in the municipal administration there is currently no information on possible damage, says Mayor Christian Köck. In 2020 he had already addressed the topic at a meeting of the municipal council. At that time, a complaint against unknown persons was filed with the Bad Wiessee police station.
