Novels, as well as children's stories, often end with

"and they lived happily ever after

.

"

This is how

Little Victoria

had ended

, the story that Telefe put on the screen in 2019 and that now returns with a second part (a sort of spinoff titled

Little Victories

) in which the story of raising these mothers continues, some six years later. of that romantic ending.

However, as we can see from this Friday on Amazon Prime Video, or

from September on the Telefe screen

, those years that passed were not rosy. The three moms who star in this sequel are in personal crisis. Jazmín (

Julieta Díaz

) is separated, Bárbara (

Natalie Pérez

) has financial problems and Emma (

Mariana Genesio

) has marital problems.

Who is missing is the fourth mother, Selva

, who in the first part played

Inés Estévez

and who, although she will not appear, her name will constantly haunt the plot.

What happened to his character will be discovered as the chapters go by.

The actress, at the time, had already expressed her discomfort for not being part of this new stage.

Clarín

chatted with Julieta Díaz and Natalie Pérez –both also dabble in music–, and also with

Alan Sabbagh

, who returns with his character as Gerardo to

become the new leading man in history

by falling in love with mother Jasmine.

-Julieta, how is your character in this new story?

Díaz

: Jasmine starts separated, she is no longer with Leo,

Luciano Castro's

character

from the first part.

Now, being single, she

is dabbling in different apps to find out about fortuitous loves

while she seeks to reintegrate into the job market and settle down generationally after having a daughter at 40-something.

Above is very disconnected from the other two mothers.

The story continues six years after the end of the 2019 strip.

- What challenge did this new stage represent for you personally?

Díaz

: The challenges were a bit the same as those of Jazmín, she felt alone in the responsibilities, and when Gerardo appears it is like a very big relief.

She was very overwhelmed with motherhood and those who are raising Victoria.

Find a much more familiar space with Gerardo.

- And in the case of Barbara?

Pérez

: She starts off, once again, lost.

She feels disappointed

because her closest ties, for one reason or another, always disappear or simply cease to be, as in this case with Selva.

And also for his love failures.

She is very vulnerable and lost on her way, but she finds herself again thanks to Selva's help, so in a way she comes to rescue her again.

Natalie Pérez with Lola Loyacono, who plays Victoria.

The absence of the fourth mother

- How did you take the absence of Inés Estévez in this spin-off?

Pérez:

Like life itself.

Sometimes we are here and sometimes we are not.

Be it physically, or lovingly,

sometimes life distances you from your best friends or part of your family due to individual decisions or physical absence

.

I think it's part of any story, we all have losses over the years and it seemed normal to me.

- Do you think it was something necessary for the story?

Pérez:

It seemed like a good decision for the story, although I would have liked to share with my partner.

It's fine, because it unites us as mothers, but it's

not like Selva was Victoria's mother either

.

He was like a little angel who came to be a part, to resolve his story with his family from this "new" family that he knows.

And, even if

she is

not,

she is present all the time

.

Inés Estévez was the fourth mother in "Little Victoria".

–Ines had expressed her discomfort at not being able to train you.

Did you get a chance to talk to her about what happened?

Pérez:

I did not have the opportunity to speak personally with Inés.

They are also things that exceed us, but obviously

I would like at some point to be able to chat and tell me a little about what happened to him

and how he felt about it.

But, well, life is like that, with the good things and the bad.

Change of heartthrob and a new love story

If

Little Victoria

was

characterized by something, it

was by breaking the stereotypes of soap operas.

From addressing unusual themes for

prime time

to showing the reality of the trans community

.

Now, the stereotype of the gallant changes.

And that's a huge plus.

It is

Alan Sabbagh

, who played Gerardo Mancuso in the first part, who becomes the love interest of Julieta Díaz's character.

-Alan, you had to keep the best part, with the mommy ...

Diaz:

"We" stay mutually.

We both got the best part.

Sabbagh:

The truth is that my character is in a situation that was not expected.

But it happens and the bank is.

He realizes what it can be and

tries to justify his place of seduction

.

From there it builds and becomes lovable.

Victoria's mothers have to face new situations with their daughter, already of school age.

- This also marks a change in the concept of the leading man that television has been building.

Pérez:

It is good because

we have changed as a society in thought and in the hegemonic

.

Each one chooses his gallant.

For example,

I don't like the ones that are perfect

.

Today, right, this was a topic of conversation with Juliet.

I don't know if that kind of man attracts a woman.

Yes to see it in a photo or on TV, but I don't know if to share your life.

Sabbagh:

One day of filming someone told me

"Sometimes you need a Gerardo in your life."

And I was left with that, because sometimes you

need to be filled from another side and not from the conventional side

Díaz:

Gallants and heroines we can be

everyone

.

Everyone can be someone's heartthrob

and, luckily, desire and love are not only based on hegemonic appearances, but also on a lot of other things that, when it comes to steaks, are more important.

Alan Sabbagh.

The actor composes Gerardo Mancuso, in Pequeñas Victorias (Telefe).

Sabbagh:

It's good that they tell it in the foreground in a series, because, in general, sometimes I had to make pairs in strips and it always turns out to be a secondary or tertiary story, and it

is nice that this is told more up front in the plot

.
