Today, Lattakia Governorate has set the working hours of private bakeries and the halls of the Syrian Trading Corporation with regard to the sale of bread and kiosks affiliated to the bakery branch within the framework of the procedures followed for the smooth running of the production process of bread and the prevention of waste with the application of sales under the spatial linkage of electronic cards.
According to the decision issued by the governorate today, the working hours of private bakeries have been set from four in the morning until ten in the morning, and the working hours of the kiosks selling bread belonging to the branch of the Syrian Foundation for Bakeries and selling bread in the halls of the Syrian Trade Foundation from seven in the morning until four in the afternoon, except for the weekend days .
The director of the branch of the Syrian Institution for Bakeries, Eng. Tammam Michael, confirmed that the measures taken at the governorate level aim primarily to organize the sales process in private bakeries for the benefit of the bakery and the citizen, and the smooth running of the production process and preventing waste, pointing out that setting work schedules was accompanied by procedures to deliver the quantities of produced bread that he did not receive. assigned to them.
And he indicated that private bakeries return the unsold excess quantities to the bakery branch, and the halls of the Syrian Trading Corporation return them to the bakery from which they obtained the material.
He pointed out that the decision was taken after evaluating the mechanism for selling bread approved by the concerned authorities in the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection and the bakeries and Syrian Trade branches.
