If someone has spent almost their entire life in one place and on a street, that speaks for a strong sense of homeland. This also applies to Marianne Ippisch, who was born in Notzing 90 years ago and has always lived and worked there with her family.

Notzing - If someone has spent their entire life in one place and on a street, that speaks for a great sense of homeland. This also applies to Marianne Ippisch, who was born in Notzing 90 years ago and has always lived and worked there with her family. Today the jubilarian, who celebrated her birthday with children, grandchildren and friends, enjoys the fact that she can still enjoy a healthy and happy senior life on the farm of son Georg.

Her parents already had a farm when she was born.

Together with her sisters Rosa and Frieda, who both have already died, and her brother Josef Heilmeier, who is five years her junior, she spent a happy childhood on their parents' farm and of course had to work there too.

She went to school in the neighboring Aufkirchen and then worked in agriculture.

At 25 she married her husband Georg, also a farmer in Notzing.

Three children emerged from this marriage: Gertraud "Traudl" Bausback, now 66 and living in the Straubing district, son Georg Ippisch (60), a farmer in Notzing, and Werner Ippisch (52), also a local farmer.

In addition, there are now four grandchildren who all live near their grandmother and love to visit her.

Because Marianne Ippisch was closely connected to agriculture and its concerns all her life, she also held the title of local farmer for 30 years. She was also a member of the horticultural association and still takes care of her vegetable garden "and above all the many beautiful flowers on the farm", as her son Georg remarks. She also likes to go to the nearby church - and to the cemetery, her husband died twelve years ago. She reads the local newspaper every day and closely follows local events.

In addition to her relatives, she was visited by Mayor Bernhard Mücke, who brought a gift and flowers as a greeting from the community.

Rainer Mehringer, as deputy district administrator, also had a present for the jubilee.

And Stefan Hofmann, chairman of the local fire brigade, also congratulated the sprightly senior citizen, who then celebrated her birthday with her guests at almost the same place where she was born.
