The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities' continued detention of the bodies of Palestinian martyrs is a crime and a flagrant violation of international laws and covenants.
The ministry explained in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the silence of the international community in assuming its responsibilities towards the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians is complicity and participation in them, even though it is supposed to be a regulator, protector and defender of international law and international justice.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the relevant UN organizations, foremost of which is the Human Rights Council, to take the necessary measures, put an end to the crimes of the occupation, and return the bodies of the martyrs to their families for burial.
