Terrorist groups continue their attacks to obstruct the Syrian state's efforts to protect civilians and establish security in Daraa

The remnants of terrorist groups, on the orders of their operators and supporters in the West, continue to strain the situation in Daraa in order to impede the efforts of the Syrian state to protect civilians and establish security and stability throughout the governorate through a comprehensive settlement that preserves the lives of civilians and ends the abnormal situation resulting from the crimes and attacks of terrorist groups in Daraa al-Balad and some rural areas.

More than a month after the continuous attempts of the Syrian state to settle the situation in Daraa al-Balad, the terrorist groups returned today to escalate their attacks, as they targeted a military bus with an explosive device in the western countryside of Daraa, which caused the death of several martyrs and the wounding of others.

And units of the Syrian Arab Army have recently deployed in a number of areas to control security, end the suffering of the people, and enhance security and stability, especially in the areas surrounding the Daraa neighborhood, where wanted men and outlaws and remnants of terrorist groups attack from time to time with mortars, explosive devices and machine guns. SANA’s reporter had met a number of residents of Daraa governorate, who denounced the abnormal situation in some areas of the governorate, stressing their support for the state’s efforts to address the situation there, and demanding an end to the terrorist presence in Syria in general, especially in their governorate, which regained its security and stability in most areas, and the people returned to their work and to Their universities, schools, and fields, and the process of rehabilitating infrastructure and services began with a remarkable acceleration.
