Coalition members refer to an advertisement in "Israel Today" according to which Netanyahu is considering offering Gantz the prime minister without rotation • Minister Elkin: "I do not know if Gantz will want to step on the same mine he has already stepped on" • The chairman of the Blue and White faction did not deny The proposal and said: "We could have been there several times already, and we chose to be in this government"

A shock in the government?

Following the publication in "Israel Today", according to which Netanyahu is considering proposing to Gantz the prime minister without rotation, today (Thursday) MKs from the coalition addressed for the first time the possibility that such proposals would jeopardize the integrity and stability of the current government.

Zeev Elkin, Minister of Construction and Housing and Deputy Chairman of the New Tikva Party, commented on the publication of the Likud and Netanyahu's proposal to Gantz and said in an interview with the GLC that "the proposal does not comply with the law "Once again, step on the same mine that has already been trodden on."

MK Eitan Ginzbur, chairman of the Blue and White Faction, also addressed the issue during an interview with the High Court of Justice and said that despite Netanyahu's proposal, "the government is functioning well, there is no reason not to date it." And he said: "We could have been there several times already, and we chose to be in this government."

It should be noted that even before the publication in "Israel Today", Minister Michael Bitton yesterday in the Knitted Studio referred to proposals given to Bnei Gantz by the Likud and said: "I think it is important that the entire Likud leadership I would like to make a beautiful and good unity government for 3 and 4 years. Of future partnerships with them - for sure. "

When asked by Minister Bitton whether he was happy for the Likud to join the current government, he said: "It must be a dream come true, but I do not deny the Likud members and do not deny a partnership with them."

As mentioned, we published in "Israel Today" that Netanyahu recently shared with opposition figures the possibility of agreeing with Ganz on his appointment as prime minister through constructive distrust of the government without rotation.

That is, without an agreement on the date of the change of government between him and Gantz, and Netanyahu will be the deputy prime minister until the election.

It is estimated that the opposition will be able to formulate 61 MKs for such a move.

There is no doubt that if such an offer is passed it will wink at Gantz, but the reason will still be lacking.

Aside from upgrading the proposals, senior opposition figures will have to provide Gantz with the ladder, and only then discuss how high it will be.
