Enthusiasm for football in Adelshofen and Nassenhausen was the driving force behind the founding of the sports club.

However, it took two attempts before SV Adelshofen-Nassenhausen was actually launched.

The whole thing happened in 1971 - exactly 50 years ago.

Adelshofen -

single people against married people from Nassenhausen: That was the name of the duels that were played before the sports club was founded.

But friendlies against neighboring towns also showed that there were enough football enthusiasts to start a club team.

As early as February 1971, the then mayor Benedikt Schwarz called a meeting at the Högenauer inn.

At that time it was not possible to agree on founding an association.

But today's former mayor did not give up.

On March 23 of the same year, he called the sports enthusiasts together again.

They came - and this time 37 of them decided to found the association.

The land consolidation also created a sports field that met the requirements of the football association.

Peter Schilling from Nassenhausen went down in the annals as the first club boss.

Other members of the founding board were Anton Ried (2nd chairman), Alois Staffler (fund) and Josef Raith (secretary).

Schwarz himself was elected as an assessor together with Josef Trinkl, Lorenz Leitmeier became the first youth leader.

Now the child only needed a name.

That was determined at the first ordinary meeting of the members.

The majority spoke out in favor of naming the club SV Adelshofen-Nassenhausen.

The club colors: black and white.

Today's chairman Klaus Trinkl emphasizes how important the association is for community life: "Before that, in the 1950s and 60s it was anything but easy for a boy who loves football to pursue his favorite activity." Play equipment and suitable shoes are usually not available. The so-called Soachblosn, i.e. the urine bladder of a slaughtered sow, which was pumped up immediately after slaughter and could be used for a maximum of four days, was therefore often used as football.

"With the official entry of the SV into the Bavarian Football Association in 1971, two teams in the senior and one in the youth area were available for games," reports Trinkl. He learned from older club members that the trappings of league football looked very different back then than they do today. The showers consisted, for example, of a ten or 20 liter milk can to which a hose was attached. The players usually brought this construct with them from home.

But since then the club has developed rapidly and has already celebrated several milestones in its not-so-long club history: The multi-purpose hall in Adelshofen was inaugurated in 1977, which gave the SV an enormous boost in indoor sports such as karate, volleyball and gymnastics.

Today the club is home to 15 departments.

In 1990 the opening of the new sports area followed, which not only includes a large soccer field, but also two tennis courts. In addition, the stock tracks were expanded. The project was decisively advanced by Schwarz, who was also able to acquire the 3,000 square meters of land required for the construction of the site. Four years later, the area was expanded to include a third sports field. In 2010, new changing rooms and additional rooms were inaugurated for the SV.

Consistency has prevailed in the club's management over the years.

This is also evident from the fact that in five decades only five different chairpersons led the club.

The founding chairman Schilling was followed by Peter Schöberl (1982 to 1991), Fritz Pfleger (1991 to 2000), Leonhard Klaß (2000 to 2018) and now Trinkl.

In addition, Schwarz was not the only current mayor who held an office at SV.

Michael Raith, himself a founding member, inherited his brother Josef in 1972 and was secretary until 1975.

This year the SV Adelshofen-Nassenhausen celebrates its 50th anniversary with a whole series of events.

A friendly match against a selection of the Munich Lions has already taken place, in which former Mayor Michael Raith auctioned off a lion jersey.

With a bid of 205 euros, Klaus Trinkl's 85-year-old mother-in-law secured the coveted item.

The association topped up the amount to 500 euros and donated it for the flood victims in Germany.

From the monastery meadow festival to the festive evening: this is how the big birthday is celebrated

The 50th anniversary of SV Adelshofen-Nassenhausen continues on August 21 with the Klosterwiesenfest.

The local brass band, the Heischneida and the Keller Steff Big Band play from 4.30 p.m. on the monastery area, admission is from 4 p.m.

According to club boss Klaus Trinkl, the planning was not so easy due to the corona, because it was unclear how many spectators were allowed to come.

“First there were 200, then 500 and now 1500,” says the chairman.

The annual general meeting, which was supposed to take place in March, has also been postponed.

It is now scheduled for September 24th at 7 p.m.

A new board of directors is also elected.

On October 15, as part of the anniversary year, there will be Bavarian cabaret with Hans Well and the Wellbappn in the multi-purpose hall in Adelshofen.

One day later, the big gala evening for the 50th birthday of the sports club takes place - with a church service, a pageant and a big celebration.
