RKI: Germany is at the beginning of the fourth corona wave
Germany is at the beginning of the fourth corona wave, the RKI announced.
"The number of cases has been increasing again since the beginning of July 2021 and is increasing much earlier and faster than last year," said the RKI weekly report on Thursday evening.
According to the RKI, younger age groups are particularly affected.
"The positive proportions are by far the highest in these age groups."
The proportion of positive samples in the PCR tests increased from four to six percent within a week.

Corona in Germany - Who has to go to hospital because of Corona?
A corona infection * runs differently.

The number of Covid patients in the intensive care units is rising again slightly.
