Many people aged 40 and over, pregnant women, teaching staff and other populations who were allowed the third corona vaccine are expected to arrive today (Friday) at HMOs across the country to get the booster shot.

This, after the Ministry of Health last night recommended the expansion of the third vaccination campaign.

Prime Minister Bennett will also be vaccinated today.

Last night, tens of thousands had already booked appointments at the HMOs.

Some even chose not to wait - and have already gone to clinics to get vaccinated.

Lior Meir Sion, 44, from Hod Hasharon, was vaccinated yesterday at the United Health Insurance Fund.

"As soon as I heard that the 40-year-old had been given the opportunity to be vaccinated, I went to Meuhedet's clinic without a queue and hoped for the best, and they did agree to vaccinate me on the spot," he said.
