The police are looking for a man who stole groceries in a supermarket in Regensburg and then attacked a seller.
Regensburg - On Wednesday (August 18) a man stole groceries in a Regensburg * supermarket and then attacked a seller.
This was announced by the Regensburg police.
The perpetrator had entered the supermarket on Von-Seeckt-Strasse around 2 p.m.
There he grabbed some groceries and tried to leave the store without paying for it.

A salesman confronted the man, whereupon he ran away.
However, the employee pursued him and was soon able to catch him.
The thief then kicked the 20-year-old in the stomach and ran on with the stolen goods.

The thief is said to be six feet tall and around 35 years old.
His stature has been described as strong.
He was dressed in a yellow shirt and short black trousers and carried a gray backpack.
The Regensburg Kripo is now asking for evidence.
