Schongau animates searches for the most beautiful pictures for the 2nd family calendar.
The motto this year is: "Sparkling water, strudel and still water in Schongau!" Pictures can be uploaded until the end of August.

The first family calendar from Schongau revived last year was well received.
So this year the decision was made to start a second edition.
So far, not too many contributions had been received, so the decision was made to kick the drum again and also to extend the deadline for submitting it, explains Beatrice Amberg from the Schongau initiators.
Looking for great pictures, from funny to magical
Why is? The second Schongau family calendar for the year 2022 should show "the funniest, coolest, greatest, most meaningful, creative, atmospheric, funniest, most magical water photos in Schongau", according to the website. The conditions are listed in detail under the tab photo competition at www.schongau-belebt.de. Most importantly: You need the images in landscape format in a good quality (jpg format, maximum 2 MB). Important: The sender must of course also have the image rights, so please only offer your own photos.
All uploaded images can then be voted online.
The 24 images with the most votes will make it to the final selection.
In the end, Schongau's own jury also enlivened the right to have a say, because the selection is not always easy, after all, the calendar should also be based a little on the seasons.
"Of course it is not possible that we only end up with summer or winter photos," says Amberg.

The pictures can be uploaded to the photo gallery until the end of August, and then everyone can vote online until September 15.
The winners do not receive any money, but for those photographers whose pictures have made it into the photo calendar, a free calendar is available at the end.
And there is also something to be won: all participants, whether photographers or by casting a vote, take part in the raffle for a total of three calendars.
It is best to pre-order the calendar
Amberg reveals that there will be a small contingent of calendars at two or three different Schongau sales outlets this year as well.
But if you want to be on the safe side, you should pre-order your own copy.
This is also very important for Schongau lively in order to be able to estimate how many calendars should be printed, according to Amberg.
She can also well imagine that the family calendar could be a wonderful end-of-year gift for employees - companies with larger orders are also welcome to contact her.
