A ship caught fire off Green Island.
Near midnight on Saturday (21st), the police received multiple reports that a 20-foot-long fishing boat caught fire in the northwestern part of Hong Kong Island and the waters north of Green Island. It was also a few kilometers away from the Cheung Sha Wan Fish Wholesale Market. Someone witnessed the fire.
Rescuers arrived in response to the report and found two men on the boat fell into the sea. Fortunately, the firefighters rescued them in time. They were sober and put on tin foil to keep warm. After being sent to the Central Pier, they were sent to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
The ship fire was extinguished after it burned for nearly an hour, but it continued to emit smoke thereafter.
As far as I can see, the ship on fire was severely burned, and part of it was burned to the left of the frame.
The fire and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
