Region - The district association of the Junge Union (JU) Weilheim-Schongau has a new chairman: Julius Ferg replaces Nick Lisson.
35-year-old Nick Lisson from Penzberg was no longer part of the youth organization due to age.
Lisson, who is also chairman of the CSU local association Penzberg and city council, had been at the head of the district JU for eight years.
At the meeting, almost 40 members had gathered in the open air in the Steingadener Fohlenhof, new elections were due.
Julius Ferg (23) from Wessobrunn and Aleksandar Trifunovic (31) from Penzberg applied for a successor.

In the end, Ferg was elected with a large majority of 70 percent, says district manager Monika Engel from Penzberg.
Ferg is also the CSU local chairman in Wessobrunn and has been a member of the JU district committee for six years, most recently as deputy chairman.
Professionally, he works as a consultant at the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
"I want to continue our successful work of recent years and build on it - we will continue to be the voice of the youth in the district," said the 23-year-old.
It makes him proud that the JU is allowed to provide three mayors and two district councilors in the district.
