The fourth wave of corona is in full swing, and alongside the rise in morbidity and the rising infection curve, the virus appears to be causing long-term health damage in some cases.
"If I can describe what I went through then someone stole my body, I did not come back to myself," says Zehava Negbi, who fell ill in Corona in April 2020. She says, "This is a problem that is not noticed. The disease has damage beyond its diseased bone, long-term effects on some of the people affected, and needs to be treated in a concentrated manner as well - something that does not happen today.
"My husband and I got sick together. We recovered, but then all sorts of symptoms I still suffer from started: joint pain, muscle aches, my senses of taste and smell did not recover, I have a hard time recalling speech sentences, my hair fell out. I went to the doctors and everyone agreed. That my body was experiencing a reaction due to coronary heart disease, but they had nothing to do with it. "I was only able to enter the post-Corona in Beilinson in June 2021. Until then, I waited. This is a problem that the system does not address the patients, a lot of money has been allocated to the hospitals and the health funds, but not to the patients themselves."

After experiencing the difficult situation of the post-corona, Zehava set up a Facebook page on the matter, and very quickly the group gained 3,000 members.
"We need to help a lot of people like me systemically because we are tortured among a lot of doctors and we do not have holistic treatment at all. I am warning about this now because the fourth wave is huge, and unfortunately there will be more patients in my condition."
Communication clinician Moriah Hellman also experienced the disease intensely.
"I'm looking for a job today and rethinking a path because I can not work in my profession, which is intensive speech and follow-up. I get tired after climbing 12 steps, I have a hard time carrying products from the writer, One does not know when and if we will recover at all.
"Out of seven people six family members fell ill, my husband got the disease easily and my children were asymptomatic. Betel Binyamin, who also suffers from long-term corona symptoms, says that "the symptoms of the disease period remained with me even though I was really mild. "It always passes and the corona hurts us a lot in life. So after I got sick I took it upon myself to spread and tell it as much as possible," she shares.
Benjamin also went to a line of doctors, who could not find a cure for her. "I went to every doctor there was, but everyone did not know what to do and referred me to another doctor. I went to a neurologist, an orthopedist, a long-term corona clinic, but no one really knew what to do, they have no answer. I also went to alternative medicine and even though I was afraid of needles I went Acupuncture, but it did not help. I took vitamins, I got the vaccine - but the difficulties remained, and I'm talking about other young people like me aged 30 and under. Get vaccinated because it is a very harmful disease and it is not only fatal - but it also has effects on some of the recoverers over time. "
