In two municipalities in the eastern district there are now advances from different parties calling on the town halls to get more involved in the vaccination campaign.
Low-threshold offers are required, for example in beer gardens or schools.
Olching / Gröbenzell - The city council faction of the Olching CSU says: "The declining willingness to vaccinate worries us." As BRK district chairman, Mayor Andreas Magg certainly has the opportunity to have a special vaccination campaign carried out, also in Olching.
"Elsewhere they run through the outdoor pools with the syringe," explains Maria Hartl.
For example, you could imagine creating a low-threshold vaccination offer in the beer gardens, for example at Gut Graßlfing or in the Volvere in Geiselbullach.
Incomprehension towards the vaccine lazy
The CSU explains its incomprehension towards the "vaccine lazy".
At first there was an outcry because there was not enough vaccine.
Now there are enough vaccines that criticism comes up again.
Namely that politics does not manage to get the citizens on the syringe.
“That the responsible citizen is sometimes a lazy citizen and therefore does not always behave in a socially beneficial manner.
Especially in a free democracy, that is certainly not a fact that politics can be criticized for, ”says von Olchings Christsozialen.
Support vaccination campaigns with posters
In Groebenzell, Peter Falk initiated an application for the SPD.
The community is supposed to support the vaccination campaign with advertising, i.e. posters.
Falk mentions the city of Rosenheim as a positive example.
In Gröbenzell one can cooperate with resident doctors, pharmacies, the local Malteser relief service, the fire brigade, the adult education center, the social service, the old people's home St. Anton, the churches and the associations.
Vaccination in the school yard
Special vaccination campaigns should take place on site - in consultation with the Bruck vaccination center of the BRK. One idea would be so-called “schoolyard vaccination days” for twelve-year-olds, in coordination with the grammar school. According to von Falk, special attention should be paid to vaccinating younger people. In principle, this has been recommended by the Standing Vaccination Commission since this week in the fight against the pandemic. Here a cooperation with the grammar school, the Waldorf school, the youth center as well as the youth advisory board and the various youth groups of the churches and associations would be appropriate.
Falk's specific demands on the town hall are: The community of Gröbenzell should organize appointments for on-site vaccination campaigns as well as an openly advertised vaccination service.
The SPD councilor Falk emphasizes: “Vaccination is solidarity in action.
Our community is also responsible for the health of all of us. "
