Florian Jäger recently joined the Bundestag as a replacement for the AfD.

The 50-year-old lives in Olching.

The married father of one daughter studied business administration.

Florian Jäger is chairman of the AfD in the district and district council.

In the election he would like to move back into the Bundestag.

An interview.

Why exactly should you and no one else move into the Bundestag?

I should move into the Bundestag because I stand up for the fact that politics puts the interests of the citizen at the center of their actions.

At first glance this reads like a matter of course, but unfortunately it is the exception.

The politics of the other parties in the German Bundestag have completely lost sight of the lives of the citizens because they only pursue supposedly higher, ideological goals in which the citizen is treated not as a sovereign but as a disruptive factor.

What are the main challenges facing the constituency for which you are running?

The current developments in Afghanistan will further increase the pressure to migrate to Germany and the federal government has no plan how to react.

The so-called “anchor center” in Fürstenfeldbruck will pose even greater challenges for the district here.

The reasons for this lie in federal politics.

That is why I want to work in Berlin to ensure that the German borders are controlled again and illegal immigration is stopped.

Do you have a political role model?

As a co-founder of UKIP, Nigel Farage fought for Britain's independence from the EU.

After more than 20 years, he has achieved the goal of leading his country out of the EU.

“Politicians think of the next election, statesmen of the next generation.” In this sense, Nigel Farage acted in a statesmanlike manner.

He has worked with foresight and tenacity for the well-being of future generations and is therefore a great role model for me.

Formulate your three most important political goals in Twitter format

Fundamental rights are not to be tied to conditions!

The “epidemic emergency” must end.

No more lockdown, mask requirements and vaccination requirements!

Preserve jobs in Germany.

Transport and energy transition are strangling the German economy.

Yes to the combustion engine, yes to nuclear power, yes to the future!

Stop illegal immigration, deport criminal migrants!

Honor killings and gang rape should not be part of everyday life in Germany.

What is your favorite hobby outside of politics?

Family first!

If there is still time, I like to drive my Honda Shadow through the Bavarian Oberland.

I use Facebook in the election campaign because ...?

Unfortunately, the AfD's program and politics are treated very neglected in the established media and are mostly portrayed negatively.

Social media give me the opportunity to communicate directly with citizens and present my view of politics in the country.

In direct contact with the citizen, a completely different picture emerges than in the often distorted representation of the established media.

The imbalance in reporting can be compensated somewhat via Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

My favorite place in the constituency is .....

My favorite place in the constituency is my home.

Here is my family, here is my haven of peace.

From there it goes sometimes to the Olchinger See, sometimes by bike along the Amper to the beer garden at the monastery.

What would be the most important topic for your inaugural speech in the Bundestag?

My first speech in the Bundestag will probably be a good thunderstorm.

I believe that the MEPs in Berlin have forgotten what their job is.

They should control the government and pass laws that make the lives of the people in the country better and more livable.

They have to be reminded of that again.

Which visual artist would you like to have a work by in your apartment?

I don't deal with such luxury problems.

As a pragmatist, I would say “the most expensive”.
