Markt Schwaben - The municipality of Markt Schwaben points out that dangerous situations occur time and again in the area where it joins the An der Bachleiten / Herzog-Ludwig-Straße. Here cyclists are prohibited from using the sidewalk out of town from the confluence with Ödenburger Straße (downhill). The vehicles leaving An der Bachleiten can only be seen very late by the cyclists and accidents have already occurred at this point.
For this reason, the traffic routing has changed as follows: The shared footpath and bike path out of town now begins after the confluence with Am Erlberg (recycling center). This means that cyclists have to drive out of town on the lane up to this junction. In addition, signage was installed again to clarify the sidewalk area.
