the release of Eduardo Arellano Félix will not have a significant impact on Tijuana
, in the Mexican state of Baja California, the city where he founded and operated a criminal network together with his brothers. Arellano Félix is in the custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) awaiting deportation to Mexico. The man was released Wednesday from a federal jail in Pennsylvania serving a 15-year sentence on charges of money laundering and conspiracy to use and invest illicit drug proceeds.
