establish solid, constructive and balanced relations, in particular with neighboring countries
", citing Spain, but also France in this speech given for the 68th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People.
Pegasus scandal
In addition, the sovereign denounced "
a vast campaign of denigration against our security institutions
".
Recently, the kingdom was accused of using the Pegasus spy software, designed by the Israeli company NSO, as part of a wide-ranging investigation by a consortium of 17 international media outlets on the basis of data obtained by the organization Forbidden Stories and by Amnesty International.
Rabat categorically denied "
these false and unfounded allegations
" and initiated several legal proceedings in France, Spain and Germany.
