Latakia-SANA
Two fires broke out in the Kessab area in Lattakia countryside, as a result of shells fired by terrorist organizations deployed in Idlib countryside, while forest firefighting teams deal with them to contain the fire.
Engineer Basem Doba, director of the Forestry Department in the Lattakia Agriculture Directorate, told SANA reporter that “two fires broke out in the sites of Al-Shajara and Nabe’ Al-Murr within the agricultural lands in Kassab, as a result of the fall of shells launched by terrorist organizations deployed in Idlib countryside, adjacent to Latakia countryside.”
The reporter pointed out that “the firefighting teams in the Directorate of Agriculture deal with the fire in order to surround it and prevent it from spreading to new areas within the area and to prevent it from reaching homes.”
Terrorist groups backed by the Turkish regime are spreading in Idlib governorate, and they repeatedly attack with rocket-propelled grenades on agricultural lands, residential homes and safe towns in the surrounding areas.
