Within hours: Two motorcyclists were killed in self-inflicted accidents

A 40-year-old man slipped on the road in the Beit Shemesh area, and at the end of the resuscitation operations, he was pronounced dead.

Less than three hours later, a 38-year-old man was found dead in a similar way at the Negev Brigade Interchange near Beer Sheva.

Two motorcyclists, one about 40 years old and the other 38 years old, were killed today (Saturday) in self-inflicted accidents within hours.

The oldest of them first slipped on Road 3866 in the Beit Shemesh area, and his death was determined at the end of the resuscitation operations.

Less than three hours later, the second was found without signs of life after slipping on Road 40, near Be'er Sheva.

MDA teams located the first motorcyclist on the section of the local community from Hasia to Nes Harim. "The rider was lying on the road unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury," said MDA paramedic Lior Levy.

"We provided him with medical treatment and performed advanced resuscitation operations that included resuscitation, massage and medication but his injury was fatal and in the end we had to determine his death."

When MDA teams arrived at the Negev Brigade interchange, the 38-year-old rider was no longer alive.
