The Shahba youth football team has started its preparations for the First Division League, which is competing for the current season within a group that includes the police, Al-Hargla, Al-Kiswa and Al-Nidal teams.
In a statement to the SANA representative, Ghassan Al-Taweel, president of Shahba Club, indicated that despite the short period of preparation before the start of the league, work is currently underway in the stage of physical preparation for the players, with efforts in the coming days to secure trial matches to determine the team's readiness.
Al-Taweel pointed out that the team is missing in the current season the efforts of a number of players due to traveling and moving to Al-Arabi Club, which plays this season in the Premier League, noting that a number of players will be tested in the team from other clubs in order to adopt the appropriate ones for the final squad before the start of the league.
The youth team of Shahba achieved good results last season during its participation in the first division, which was represented by defeating Al-Fatwa and Giroud back and forth, Ali Al-Arabi and Al-Hargla back and forth.
