At about 9 am today (22nd), at the junction of Lockhart Road and Tonnochy Road in Wanchai, Stormtrooper police officers found an African-American man acting suspiciously during a patrol. Drugs were found on his body during the interception, and he was arrested.
In the meantime, the man suddenly attacked and kicked a police officer's foot. Four to five police officers immediately pressed him on the ground to uniform. The man was wounded and bleeding from the mouth. He was arrested on suspicion of assaulting the police and concealing drugs, and injured his foot. The police officers were sent to Ruttonjee Hospital for treatment.
Sources at the scene stated that the man was arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine.
