A sixth rotation of the airlift set up by the French army to exfiltrate the French and some Afghans from Kabul fallen into the hands of the Taliban allowed the arrival Sunday evening in Paris of 250 people, announced the General Staff.
“Tonight an A330 landed in Paris, coming from Abu Dabi.
On board, 250 French and Afghans now safe.
Another A330 will land overnight, with 150 people, ”

The flight that arrived on Sunday evening represents the sixth arrival and that announced will be the seventh. The French airlift, called Operation Apagan, transports exfiltrators from Kabul to Abu Dhabi, to a French military base, then to Paris. The first flight arriving in Paris brought back 41 people on Tuesday, mainly French, Wednesday 209 people, mainly Afghans, Thursday 206, Friday a hundred, just like Saturday. Afghans exfiltrated will be able to apply for asylum in France if they wish.
