It turns out that when it comes to pizza there are probably no rules and the combination of love of pizza with lots of creativity and free time can create particularly strange ideas.
The star in charge is the Domino's Pizza chain in Australia, which has decided to drive the chain crazy and challenge the palate of its customers with a new and strange product: watermelon-based pizza.
Yes, you read that right, not a pizza that looks like a watermelon, not a watermelon-shaped pizza, a pizza made of watermelon.
On it, of course, you will find the usual and classic ingredients, cheese, paparazzi and other vegetables.
In a new ticketing video from the fast food chain, an employee is seen creating strange pizza combinations that have been defined by surfers as the worst since the invention of the pineapple topping.

Y'all keep asking us for a low carb option 😏🍕Nah fr when we saw @elburritomonster make a watermelon pizza, we HAD to give it a go.

Among other things, we see the same worker spreading a tablespoon of tomato sauce on a thick slice of watermelon that replaces the traditional dough.
After spreading the sauce he added cheese, pepperoni and put in the oven until the pizza was ready.
"Admittedly it looks really good when it comes out of the oven, it could be an acquired taste" a voice was heard in the video.
The inspiration, it turns out, came from the workers from the British cook and tiktok user Oliver Patterson, who a few weeks ago posted a video of a watermelon pizza and received more than 3.4 million views on tiktok and extensive reactions.
"Customers always ask us for a low-carb base, so when we saw this idea we thought we should at least give it a try. Won't you try?", Said Domino's.
But you're probably not the only ones that this idea causes them a slight contraction because after creating the pizza Dominos admit "in case you didn't get to the end, we were less enthusiastic too".

I can not actually recommend this enough

Video views keep rising and approaching half a million, alongside many reactions from all corners of the culinary spectrum.
Among other things, we found there comments like "war crime," "the worst addition since pineapple."
An Italian surfer even added that this is a great insult for her people.
It does not seem to us that this pizza will ever become a real product that I will rent to be sold in branches, on the other hand, we thought it about pineapple as well.
We're special pizza sugars and every new addition to a pizza makes our day, but dear Dominos, why do these experiments on us?
We have a weak heart.
Would you try?
