Today, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research released the results of the exams for the second semester courses of the preparatory year for medical colleges for the academic year 2020-2021, and set the date for accepting applications to object to the results from 8-25-2021 until 9-2-2021.
The ministry allowed students, according to its announcement, a copy of which was received by SANA, to submit their applications electronically to the Preparatory Year Student Affairs Department at their universities, according to the approved bases and the required fees.
The number of preparatory year students in public universities is estimated at about 10,000 students, and the preparatory year for the faculties of “Human Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy” was adopted as a second criterion for university admission in addition to the average of the general secondary certificate in the academic year 2015-2016, so that it became a central, unified and automated exam for each semester according to What has been approved by the Higher Education Council and is considered one of the student’s academic years.
