Please note: Czech Republic changes Israel's entry policy Israel today

2021-08-22T08:13:13.364Z

There are very few destinations that Israelis accept without isolation in both directions, but now, according to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one of them defines Israel as a country at risk.

The Czech Republic is one of the four countries that accept Israelis without the need for isolation back in the country, but from tomorrow, the Czechs will put Israel on the list of dangerous countries (bright red) and this has implications when it comes to entry procedures.

Starting tomorrow, both vaccinated and recovering people who arrive in the country will be required to perform a corona test within 72 hours before the flight to the country, according to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Currently, this is the only restriction that will be added to Israelis who want to fly to the destination, but if the level of morbidity worsens, there is a chance that Israel will enter the gray and worst list in the Czech Republic, which will impose additional restrictions on those who arrive there.

12 verified returned from the Czech Republic

The number of verified returns from the Czech Republic is very low and stands at only 12 within three days of landing out of about 5,000 returns from the country, if you count the number verified within 10 days since landing in Israel, the number increases by another five to 17.

This week, Ministry of Health officials are expected to convene to assess the state of the new countries.

It is estimated that the list of countries will change and it is possible that additional countries will be added from which it will be possible to return without the need for isolation in Israel.
