Daraa Directorate of Education, in cooperation with the local community, has restored 14 schools to service after rehabilitating them from the damage they sustained as a result of terrorism.
The head of the school buildings department in the Directorate of Education, Engineer Radi Aloni, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the schools were distributed among the Telshehab School for Basic Education, Deir Al-Bakht High School, and the Green School in Daraa, indicating that the local community contributed to restoring Karak Fourth and Sixth Schools, Busra Al-Harir Secondary School, and eight schools in Sidon for service. .
Al-Aloni added that work is underway to rehabilitate five schools from the budget of the Directorate of Education and to announce a tender for another four from the reconstruction budget, noting that the directorate has about 103 schools in need of partial restoration, 20 of which are currently being worked on.
It is noteworthy that since 2018 to date, about 96 schools have been restored to service in Daraa after their rehabilitation.
