This teenager was initially indicted for "
attempted murder of a 15-year-old minor
" and placed in pre-trial detention, for having seriously injured the victim, after being mocked on the internet.
Following the death of the victim, "
I asked for a reclassification of the facts as intentional homicide, and the investigation is continuing,
" the public prosecutor of Reims, Matthieu Bourrette, told AFP, confirming information from France 3 Grand Est.
A stab at a rap clip
On June 2, around noon, the respondent would have made an appointment in a street of the hyper-center with the victim, of the same age, to do battle.
In seconds, he would have punched him and then punched him with Opinel in the temple, hitting his brain.
The two teenagers were educated in different 4th grade classes at the Saint-Joseph private high school in Reims, a posh establishment in the city.
